Lunch in the expanded Exhibit Hall - lunch on both Tuesday and Wednesday will be served in the
Exhibit Hall so you can spend more time networking with other pet food professionals and
industry suppliers, and less time walking!
Meet with future pet food professionals - connect with students in the
Petfood Forum Student program, some of whom won scholarships from leading
industry companies to attend this year. The students will be available during the job
and internship meet-up in the Future of Pet Food area in the Exhibit Hall Tuesday
and Wednesday mornings, as well as by the scientific posters during Tuesday's
Roundtable discussions - during lunch on Wednesday, participate in an informal
roundtable discussion on a topic of high interest and importance to our industry. See the list of
topics on page 9; and on Wednesday, look for the topic titles on about 12 of the lunch tables. Seating and participation at each table is first come, first served.
Visit with pet charities - get your warm and fuzzy fix and learn about the wonderful
work of Pet Peace of Mind, Canine Companions for Independence and Great Plains SPCA on
Tuesday morning. You won't be able to walk by without at least a quick pet of an adorable
dog or cat!
Social media - post selfies with the pets, plus your thoughts and comments, on
social media to share your Petfood Forum experience with your followers and connections. Tweet or post to Facebook at #petfoodforum.
Petfood Forum TV - check out the monitors around the convention center to see your peers interviewed as part of this unique 30-minute program.
It will also feature highlights from Petfood Innovation Workshop: Taste of
Pet Food's Future (held Monday, April 3) and the opening reception, the
opening keynote, visiting pets from assistance organizations and interviews
with speakers and other industry leaders. You can even watch the program in your hotel room at the Marriott.
