Informative general sessions - find out how to stay ahead of pet food trends from
Maria Lange at GfK on Tuesday morning, then learn how Mars Petcare responds to consumer
trends from Chris Mondzelewski, the company's general manager of pet specialty, on
Wednesday morning. The Petfood Forum 2017 conference program will
end on Wednesday with a thought-provoking town hall discussion on
funding and sharing pet food research.
New hot topics - dive into some of the issues currently
challenging and driving the pet food industry with a new
concurrent session track. Topics include the science behind
biologically appropriate pet diets, working novel ingredients
into your formulations, dealing with distraught pet parents
and using omics technologies.
More accessible concurrent sessions - in addition to
the hot topics track, choose among concurrent sessions in four other
tracks: novel ingredients, nutrition, market/marketing and processing/safety/packaging. All
the concurrent session rooms are right below the Exhibit Hall or in the Learning Center in the
Scientific posters - find more research in the posters on display in the Exhibit Hall, presented by industry experts and students or faculty from the Petfood Forum Student Program.
The researchers will be present to discuss their work and answer questions during the Tuesday
reception and beer tasting.
